Editing
When publishing in a journal or on the
web, even small errors of grammar or spelling become extremely
apparent. You
are confident in yourself and your material, but for that final polish,
get a native speaker.
Cost conscious?
Editing is typically charged by the hour. Here are some pointers for a better result and a lower
fee:
- You may yourself be best suited to re-write sections. An
interactive approach, where we correct errors and identify sections
which need revision, will save you time and money as well as
making the end result more fully your own.
- Every field or enterprise has its own set of technical terms, which may be familiar to you even if you
are not a native speaker. If we can call to ask about specific
terms, it means less work for us and lower cost for you.
- If you specify the intended use of the document,
it can help us work faster. In a technical journal correctness is
highly important, in a letter of a personal nature your own
phrases should be used if possible.
